Growth of fleet sizes fuelled by increasing passenger
traffic has been instrumental to the growth of the commercial aircraft cabin
interior market. There has been a significant rise in the level of investments
from airlines in terms of cabin interior products so as to increase the comfort
and luxury quotient of their service offering. Passenger comfort has been one
of the key factors for the changes that are now transforming the commercial
aircraft cabin interior market. Demand for light weight and fuel efficient
aircrafts are also responsible for the uptick in the demand curve of the
market. In-flight entertainment incorporation in aircraft cabin interior
designs has also increased the appeal of the market. Technological shift and
the intricacy level in retrofitting aircraft interiors are the main challenges
that can hamper the growth rate of the market.
